EASONZELL™ ME Series* Building Material Grade
EASONZELL™ ME Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose (HEMC) is a colorless and odorless powder or granule, readily soluble in both hot and cold water, yielding a clear and viscous solution. It exhibits stability, remaining insoluble in typical organic solvents, and its dissolution remains unaffected by variations in pH levels. This versatile compound boasts a myriad of properties including thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, surface activity, water retention, and resistance to salinity.
Function&Application:
1. Serving as a gelling agent and water-retaining agent in cement, gypsum, and lime applications, it stands out as an additive for powdered building materials.
2. It finds versatile utility as a thickening, suspension aid, dispersant, adhesive, emulsifier, film-forming agent, and water-retaining agent in various formulations.
The properties of hydroxyethyl methylcellulose bear resemblance to methylcellulose, yet the addition of hydroxyethyl renders it more readily soluble in water. Consequently, its solution demonstrates enhanced compatibility with salt and exhibits a higher condensation temperature.

Packaging, Transportation, Storage:
EasonZell™ products are packed in multi-layer composite paper bags with moisture-proof plastic bags inside, the net weight of the unit package is 25 kg.
Because cellulose itself has strong moisture absorption properties, it is recommended that customers use the first-in-first-out storage management method, attention should be paid to rain during transportation, the transport tool should be kept clean, the product should be stored in a ventilated, cool, dry warehouse, avoid direct sunlight and isolate heat and fire sources.
